Some time ago I have read some news saying that Microsoft will discontinue support of the Public Folders in future versions of MS Exchange, and that were really bad news for both me (as the one who intensively uses Public Folders) and for Public Folder Watcher...
But this month I read one article from MS saying that Public Folders are really popular and will be supported for another 10 years. Seems like a great news...
Also it seems that lots of users will be needing Public Folder Watcher for another 10 years :) Really great.
Some more info on the lifecycle of the MS products can be found here.

Hello friends,
The public folder is a folder that you can use to share files with other people that either use the same computer, or connect to it over a network. The public folder is located in the user's folder of your root directory. The public folder contains no files until someone adds those. It does have default folders, named for content type, to make it easier for organizing files. Thanks...
